Instructions for using anti fall devices

A self-locking anti fall device can immediately lock itself when a person suddenly falls rapidly, and can move freely along the safety rope during normal use. However, when the anti fall device suddenly moves, it will automatically lock onto the safety rope, achieving a stop and lock.

This type of anti fall device can achieve automatic locking, mainly relying on internal gears. When moving upwards, the braking gear will not rotate, but will rotate along the safety rope during the descent process. When the human body falls, the self-locking device uses the eccentric cam braking principle to quickly lock onto the vertical safety rope, thereby preventing the human body from continuing to fall.

For high-altitude workers, attention should be paid to the following aspects when using fall arresters:

  1. The main rope of the high-altitude operation anti fall device must be selected correctly, and mixed use is strictly prohibited. The self-locking device must be installed correctly, with the roller (protruding part) at the top.
  2. Before installing the anti fall device, please remove the screw and turn the claw and roller assembly counterclockwise according to the opening direction of the claw shaft. After installing the main rope, install it clockwise in the direction of the opening.
  3. After installing the main rope, the upper and lower flexibility of the self-locking device should be checked. If the self-locking device does not slide smoothly, the half tension spring can be adjusted appropriately. Try locking 1-3 times to ensure the locking function. If any abnormalities are found, the use must be stopped; And contact our factory (within one year of use), unauthorized loading, unloading, and repair are strictly prohibited.
  4. Use high-altitude work fall arresters to inspect the safety rope and appearance, and try locking 2-3 times (locking method: pull out the safety rope at normal speed and make a “click” or “click” sound; pull the safety rope forcefully and it should be able to lock. When releasing, the safety rope should be able to automatically retract into the device. If the safety rope cannot be fully retracted, just slightly pull out some safety ropes). If there is any abnormality, stop using it.
  5. When using a speed differential anti fall device for tilting operations, the principle is that the inclination should not exceed 30, and if it exceeds 30, consideration must be given to whether it can collide with surrounding objects. It is strictly prohibited to twist the safety rope during use. Dismantling and modification are strictly prohibited. And should be placed in a dry and dust-free place.
  6. The wire rope anti fall device must be hung high and used low, and should be hung on a sturdy blunt edged structure above the user during use. By using an anti ratchet dual disc braking system, the human body can be effectively controlled from losing control and falling.
